I am very much in agrement with you on this. My kit config is very DIR/GUE and I also have spent many hours looking into their general philosophy. I must say I was very impressed until I met some of them!

The first couple of guys I met were great, really friendly guy's, but unfortunatlely it seemed to go down hill from there. All a lilttle too

for me.
I think Deco is such a complex and evolving subject, that to say "This is right and that's shite!" is a little norrow minded. I also am not sure about all this average depth stuff, all seems a bit hit and miss from what I've read on the DIRX articles. Seems like a sure way of getting bent. But then again what would I know I'm only a "Stroke"!
I think the only thing missing from the GUE mixing bowl is a good dollop of "humour", and a good couple of lumps of IANTD, and they'd be great.
And finally getting back to the original topic........
I myself would very much like and intend to buy a VR3. Because of the diving I'm now starting to do, I think it would be a logical purchase. The one's I've seen in action have really impressed me.
Over priced? Well isn't everything in diving??
Thermo I've a few questions for you:
What software does the Standard VR3 come with? Nitrox?
I've been told the software up grades are about £50, how many would I need to take me up to trimix?
Could you explain a little more about this "Left hand Right hand" thing?
Anyway I'd better shut up now, as Head will be moaning about "Too much table talk"!
